Born and raised in Palo Alto, California, Robb trained at the Foothill Theatre Conservatory in Los Altos California before attending UCLA's highly competitive school of Theater, Film and Television acting program. Upon graduation from UCLA, Robb was invited to join the award winning dance troupe Diavolo Dance Theatre, with acclaimed runs in the Edinburgh International Festival and Fringe,(Winner Critics Choice Award) Los Angeles Dance Kaleidoscope and many others. After working with Diavolo Dance Theatre, Robb began his professional career as an actor and quickly moved into television and feature film. While his focus has been mostly in this realm he has continued to work extensively in the professional theater as a company member of Los Angeles' award winning Pacific Resident Theatre, with acclaimed leading performances in plays such as The Time Of Your Life, Of Mice And Men, Prelude To A Kiss and The Blue Dahlia. Robb resides in Los Angeles and is an avid poet, pilot, motorcyclist, surfer and outdoors-man.

Robb has been a licensed private pilot for over 20 years, logging more than 500 hours of flight time in dozens of different types of aircraft, and is also an avid hang glider pilot.
Greatly admires the work of Jeff Bridges.
Successfully climbed Mount Rainier in Washington State, August 2001.
Is the second oldest of nine children.
Has guest starred on all three CSI franchises, one of only a handful of actors to do so. Appearing as the cold blooded brutal killer Fred Applewhite (Evaluation Day) in the first season of CSI Vegas, as the murderous struggling Hollywood actor Gabe Rotter (Stalkerazzi) on CSI Miami, and as wealthy property speculator Phillip Roth (Who's There?) on CSI New York.
