Napa Valley Film Festival Will Proceed Amid Wildfires

The Napa Valley Film Festival will proceed as planned, in spite of the wildfires that have torn through the region.

“Our hearts and thoughts continue to be with all of our Napa and Sonoma County families, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and partners during this difficult time,” said Nvff co-founders/directors Marc and Brenda Lhormer. “Our intention is to put on the most memorable and meaningful film festival to date."

Nvff plans to work with those in the community, making the festival a part of the rebuilding efforts. It was announced today that Nvff has plans to donate 10 percent of all pass sales revenue »

Ryan Gosling has parted ways with both Anonymous Content and Lbi, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.

The move is surprising given that the Mouseketeer turned A-lister had been with reps Ilene Feldman and Carolyn Govers since his early days. In October 2013, he and Govers moved together from Artist Management to Anonymous, then a few days later agent Feldman shuttered her Ifa Talent to join Rick Yorn’s Lbi.

Monica Bellucci to Get Virna Lisi Prize in Rome

Actress Monica Bellucci will be feted with the 2017 Virna Lisi award in Rome on Nov. 8 as part of the Cinema Foundation for Rome's Cityfest series.

Shanghai WingsMedia Strikes $250M Animation Co-Production Deal With Shellhut, Tiny Island

Singapore’s Tiny Island Productions and Thailand’s Shellhut Entertainment have signed a $250 million 10-film co-production deal with Shanghai WingsMedia, a subsidiary of China’s second-largest media group, Shanghai Media Group.

They struck the deal, which they said is the biggest animation film cooperation in Asia, under their joint venture Shellhut and Tiny Island Pictures. With the cooperation, the companies said they intend to create the Chinese equivalent of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe for an international audience.
