Scorpion: Team Trapped on Garbage Island. Cabe Opens Up About Past.

We humans produce more waste than any other species. So much so that there’s a significant mass of it floating on the Pacific Ocean. Enter Team Scorpion to help eradicate trash island for the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (Noaa). Their chemist neighbor, Florence tags along to help in this week’s episode of Scorpion. I find that I don’t like Florence’s arrogant and condescending attitude toward the geniuses and Paige. Come to think of it; she’s like a female version of Walter before Paige became a member of Scorpion. The genius, of course, dislikes the chemist greatly which is ironic because

The 20 Most Tragic TV Deaths of All-Time

The idea of compiling a list of tragic TV deaths is nothing new. The idea of taking a closer look and finding out why these deaths affect us the way they do is more important. We don’t care if someone dies in TV programs if we could care less or if we can’t wait for someone to finally end our suffering, having to see them in the next episode week after week. Good writing and acting ought to make us care, otherwise, why bother watching? Deaths on this list come in many shapes and sizes. Some are classic, some are

The Wolverine is Returning to Marvel in 2018

Excuse me while I groan at the prospect of Wolverine returning to Marvel in 2018. I grew up with this character, I absolutely Love this character, and yet for all he’s been through and all that he’s been pining for death to finally take him, the time seems right to let him be and allow X-23 to take up the mantle as it’s been teased for so long now. But that wouldn’t be keeping with the Marvel way of resurrecting characters that have actually earned a rest. So long as there’s a way for the writers to keep bringing them

The Gifted Review: The “threat of eXtinction” Feels More Real Than Ever

It’s only appropriate that the week of Thanksgiving contains episodes about family politics and dynamics, and “threat of eXtinction” was no exception to that. Of course, The Gifted features an entire family running from the law and intertwined with other mutants, so family drama comes pretty easily to the show. Though this episode was able to give us a little bit of internal family drama with the budding family of Polaris and Eclipse, or even fallout from the death of Blink’s foster family, it mostly went outside the Strucker family and dealt with Reed’s father (the masterful Raymond J. Barry) and their

The Top Uses of Phish Songs in TV

Phish is not really a mainstream band, as their fame has been spread mostly by word of mouth, which is something you don’t hear about much these days. But they do have a loyal fan base which is amazing since they’ve taken a few breaks from one another. Their first was after about 15 years of being together. They split in 2000 and then got back together in 2002. Then they went silent again after announcing their last show, only to pop back up in 2009. Since then they’ve been performing on a regular basis. They haven’t changed their sound
