"Watchmen" TV Series Updates

According to writer/showrunner Damon Lindelof ("Lost") , HBO is fast-tracking his "Watchmen" live-action TV series, based on the landmark 12-issue comic book mini-series (1986):

Lindelof's genre writing credits include "Prometheus" and "Star Trek Into Darkness".

With the release of  director Zack Snyder's "Watchmen" (2009)  'Director's Cut' & 'Ultimate Cut', the brand has developed and maintained a strong fan base over the years.

"...The 'Minutemen', a team of costumed crime fighters, was formed in 1939 in response to a rise in costumed gangs and criminals. The 'Watchmen' was similarly formed decades later.

"Their existence has dramatically affected world events: in particular, the superpowers of 'Doctor Manhattan' helped the United States win the Vietnam War, resulting in 'President Richard Nixon' being reelected.

"Doctor Manhattan gives the West a strategic advantage over the Soviet Union, which by the 1980's threatens to escalate the 'Cold War' into a nuclear war.

"Wonder Woman": 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly'

From TheGoodTheBadandTheUgly.Ca, take a look @ 'the good, the bad and the ugly' in director Patty Jenkins' comic book adaptation "Wonder Woman", starring Gal Gadot as 'Diana Of Themyscira':

Michael Stevens For The Good:

"'Merciful Minerva', it is true that many of us were rooting for dimpled Audrey Hepburn look-alike Gal Gadot, to turn in a decent portrayal for her first stand-alone 'Wonder Woman' feature...

"...after her exciting tease in 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice'.

"And Gadot does not disappoint, delivering the goods as a sweet and sexy, smirking action star...

"...in a film about 'love, compassion, truth, justice and equality'...

"...despite the piles of lantern-jawed Ww I 'enemy' corpses, dying in desolate, cold blue landscapes...

...looking more like something out of 'Saving Private Ryan', than the world of Lynda Carter

"But Gadot makes the most of what she's got, with great leaps and bounds. »

"I've gotten over the fact I've got no privacy," said Ratajkowski. "This is not the right way to think, politically - that you 'have nothing to hide'...

"It's like, 'Well that's the job and the profession that you're in.'

"I think I've done enough nudity now...Like, if someone asked me to do it now, I'd probably say no."

"I have some serious criteria for what I'm looking for in a role which has really fucked me. The ones that I really want have to be a really interesting script and story and usually the girl is ugly.
