Flatlife is one of the best animated shorts ever, the rest isn't bad either...
I must admit, we've bought this DVD just to see Cannes-winner Flatlife. I've seen it before at a festival and wanted to have a copy ever since. So... mission accomplished :) And I must say, Flatlife doesn't disappoint for 1 second. Its vivid animation, the great soundtrack, the hilarious moments (you've got to love the flying panda!). On one evening we decided to look at the others shorts on the compilation DVD and again, I was pleasantly surprised by most of them. From the sarcastic True Friends (animated version of a children cartoon gone bad, very bad) to the cinematographic almost perfect Carlo and the harsh My Bonnie. This compilation is a keeper when you like Flatlife, or other great shorts.
