Storyline

Ned possesses the unique talent of being able to bring the dead to life merely by touching them. However, the person may remain alive only for one minute, or else someone else dies for them. A second touch will render the person dead again, unable to be revived. Through his connections with PI Emerson Cod, Ned revives his childhood sweetheart, Chuck. The trio, aided occasionally by Olive Snook, helps solve the mysteries of various murders, whose murderer is often surprising. Written by Mandy

Goofs

Ned is shown resurrecting parts of organisms, notably the pieces of fruit for his pies and individual leaves. This is completely inconsistent throughout the series, as Ned doesn't revive wooden furniture, paper, sticks and so on. Similarly he can revive the skins of taxidermied animals and bear skin rugs but doesn't revive wool sweaters. He doesn't eat pies made with revived fruit because it would rot again but food derived from other animal and plant sources doesn't revive. See more »

Quotes

Narrator: The Pie Maker had grown accustomed to the feeling his heart made when it looked out his eyes and saw her sleeping in the next bed.

WOW - I can't believe the bad reviews... LOVE this show!
28 August 2009 | by See all my reviews

Are you kidding me?? This show is WONDERFUL! Perhaps it may be because I have watched it from episode 1, thus... fully understand the concept completely. Or perhaps it is because I stumbled upon this show by random and had no preconceived feelings.

I absolutely fell in love with this show. I love every character, the way it's filmed, the narration, the actors chosen... EVERYTHING!! I absolutely adore Kristi Chenoweth - too adorable and will make you laugh every episode.

I think if your asking too many questions about this show - it may be too advanced for you. Are you serious?? 'No one would believe if so and so told on him... why don't they bring back history figures to talk? blah blah' IT'S A SHOW. lmao. Makes me laugh... You're looking into it too hard and not just taking it for what it is. Regardless... rent the first season and watch the first few episodes! Awesome show!!
