Storyline

Harry Bosch is an irreverent homicide detective in Los Angeles. Like any good protagonist he has problems with authority, follows his gut and bends a few rules while achieving the best solved case rate in all of California. Whatever situations the writers put him into he will undoubtedly be entertaining as he pursues justice.

Goofs

Harry Bosch's home in the Hollywood Hills is a stilt home that would cost (MINIMUM) $1 million. The taxes and upkeep ALONE on such a home would be between $15-25k per year. Given Bosch is a detective and not even a detective sergeant, even with his "TV money" he shouldn't be able to afford live there. See more »

Quotes

Jerry Edgar: Golf is a great sport.
Harry Bosch: Golf is not a great sport. If you can smoke and drink while doing it, it's not a sport.

Wonderful way to start off!
18 February 2014 | by (MA, USA) – See all my reviews

This is a great beginning to, what will hopefully be, a long running series. Although I would like to see this series picked up by prime time TV, I would gladly log on to Amazon to watch it every week. Check it out, enjoy, then give it a review. The Bosch series of books is extremely well written. So much so that I could always see the action happening in my mind. This series is long overdue. The characters are perfect, the lighting, scenes, acting....all of it is exactly the way is should be for the Bosch series. Keep the series going. Log on, watch, review. Bosch is great. IMDb needs to get rid of this 10 line minimum....what if I just wanted to write "Watch Bosch!"??
