The mediocrity of the films have finally seeped into the Netflix's domain.
Defenders the crossover show of the already established marvel characters which was supposed to light things up for the coming months. but that's not the case here sadly as the show stumbles on and on till it finally falls face down. The main characters are plain wasted in the show. The supporting cast doesn't add much. the hallway fight scene was bland and lackluster instead of being on the par if not above the standards of DD s01 and s02. only charlie cox can act effectively and mike colter shines in some small scenes. The other 2 members are not even worth mentioning.
Danny rand a whinny child keeps on ranting "my name is Danny rand i'm the iron fist only one who can take down The Hand" really?
i must have missed the part where DD has tackled loads of them, Luke cage can pound on them sipping a coffee.
What was the real reason "the hand" wanted to take down NYC ?
Sigourney Weaver as a made up original character sounds as original as her name. she isn't from the comics so her background and motivation isn't explained or even properly understood. She is only there to attract the newcomers owing her credibility as a veteran.the villain doesn't pose enough ruthlessness and danger both psychologically and physically. they should've used a super powered villain to juxtapose the four members enough convinced to band together and not act like a bunch of misfits scolded to spend some time together.
Looking forward to the punisher and DD s03 and Lukecage s02.
